Below is a copy of our class Code of Conduct. This was signed and returned by all students/parents the first week of school.
Code of Conduct
7th/8th Health 2015-2016
1) Come to class on-time (1:40 for 7th/ 2:25 for 8th) 2) Come to class prepared (always bring your book, notebook, pencil, folder) 3) DO YOUR PERSONAL BEST!! 4) Participate…it’s a big part of your grade! Don’t lose your points! You are given 5 points per day- it is your job to keep the points or lose the points. You keep your points by being an active member of our class, and following all class rules. I will notify you if you lose your points- hopefully that won’t happen! 5) RESPECT: be mature, do not make fun of other people, be a good listener, raise your hand to speak, help create a positive learning environment. There is no talking during tests/quizzes. Disturbing the testing environment can result in a loss of points on the test/quiz.
6) HOMEWORK--- TURN IT IN ON TIME! Late work will only be given partial credit. Homework needs to be done neatly- if paper is torn, folded or if I cannot read the handwriting- you will lose points! 7) If you are absent it is YOUR responsibility to talk to Mrs. Mitchell about make-up work. I understand what is expected of me in 7th/8th grade Health. I have read this document with my parents and they, too, understand what is expected in Health class.
